Mitch McConnell

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was among the 17 Republicans that voted to move the infrastructure bill forward. McConnell tweeted that based on an agreement reached by the bipartisan group to address “major issues” within the bill he would support it.
Based on a commitment from Leader Schumer to Senators Portman and Sinema that the Portman-Sinema amendment to be filed will be the substitute amendment, I will vote to proceed to the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
