All eyes are on Donald Trump as he continues to hint at another presidential campaign in 2024. While the election is years away Trump has dropped multiple breadcrumbs leading his supporters to speculate that he is in fact planning to run. Now, his former press secretary and adviser Sean Spicer is saying Americans can expect to see another Trump campaign.
The Washington Examiner reports:
“He’s in,” he said during a preview interview of his upcoming book,Radical Nation: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s Dangerous Plan for America, already an Amazon pre-sale bestseller.
Spicer said that the last few months of bumbles by the Biden White House, especially on Trump issues such as immigration, have encouraged the former president to look beyond the 2022 midterm elections during which he plans to be a “kingmaker.”
Spicer said that Trump will run, especially if he plays a role in helping the Republcian Party win back the House and Senate.
“A couple of months ago I wasn’t sure” of a new Trump bid, he said. “Now,” he added, “there needs to be something that will keep him out.”
