Conservative radio host and top challenger to California governor, Larry Elder just received a glowing endorsement from beloved American actor, Chuck Norris. In an article, Norris praised Elder for his common-sense politics and his courage to stand up to Gavin Newsom despite the uphill battle he faces in the deep blue state. Elder announced his campaign against Newsom and quickly became the Republican frontrunner in the recall election, however, he’s noted that its still going to be difficult to defeat Newsom come September.
According to reports by WND:
“I know it’s a long shot,” he added, referring to Newsom’s ability to raise unlimited funds. But he said he was driven by a “fire in the belly to see if I can do something … to move the needle in the right direction.”
Larry is right. The truth is: It will not be easy for him to beat Newsom, but I believe he can win if the people of California rise up right alongside him. The Golden State has a Democratic super-majority in its state Assembly, Senate and with its majority of voters. Nevertheless, I believe the majority of Californians want out of the chasm Newsom put them in. But they only way they can do that is to get over conventional Democrat-Republican politics. They are going to have to get away from typical does-he-agree-with-me-on-everything partisanship, and simply ask: Who can deliver us from this pit and corrupt political power? Gov. Newsom’s arrogance and ignorance created it. His continued political presence will only deepen the chasm and grow the state’s problems. More of the same won’t fix California’s crippled economy and stop its exodus of citizens!
Golden State voters, I’m convinced Larry Elder is your man. If given the chance, he can deliver California and Californians out of Newsom’s pit. Elder has the knowledge. He has the experience. He is uniquely qualified. He has the proven grit, drive, compassion and leadership abilities.
I couldn’t encourage you enough to go to ElectElder.com today, sign up for Larry’s newsletter and rally for his support over these summer months. Listen to his video titled, “Why I’m running,” to understand his heart and mission for yourself.
With a little over a month until the recall election polls are turning in Elder’s favor. Recent polls conducted by Survey USA put Larry Elder slightly ahead of Governor Newsom.
According to reports by Ellis Insight:
Asked whether the sample of registered California voters would vote to recall the Governor, for the first time, a 51% majority, said they would. Those who support retaining him numbered only 40 percent.
Republicans, a distinct minority in the state but a more motivated group for this election, would vote to recall in an 8:1 ratio. Conversely, Democrats unsurprisingly favor retaining favor the Governor, but a smaller 3:1 ratio.
The S-USA poll sees a potentially very serious problem for Mr. Newsom in the independent category. By a 50-33% majority, the non-affiliated respondents would vote to remove him from office. Should this finding prove accurate, Mr. Newsom would be in danger of losing his position.
A major difference lies between those saying they are “certain” and “likely” to vote. The certain voters break 57-39% in favor of removal; the likely category: 43-36% for retention.
