This group has warned that health equity is endangered by “institutional discrimination” and has made reference to “social determinants of health.” The CDC dedicated a whole section of their website to these ideas.

I can’t even read the article, because stupid ads that I never look at keep popping up on my screen. STUPID!! Although, the changing of words is NOT what the legal American citizens should stand for. For me, “illegal alien” is still an illegal alien. “People of color” is just as nasty as “colored people”. The reason “they” want to use the term “people of color” is to give “them” bigger numbers. I say – stop the crap and the division. You are either a legal American citizen (regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual perversion, etc.) or you are not a legal American citizen. All govt. forms should stop asking such stupid ass questions about race, etc. If you are an illegal alien, you should be removed from the country.

The corruption of human language is expected, ever since the Serpent tempted Eve to bite the forbidden fruit. Robert Heinlein in Stranger in A Strange Land once voiced a hyper-cynical view of language: that ‘the true purpose of language is not to communicate, but to conceal one’s true intentions’ (or words to that effect). Add to this double-speak from Orwell’s 1984 and the disastrous potential of human language is frightfully clear. It is indeed scary how we are seeing this unfold right before our eyes.
