Wyoming GOP Rejects Effort to Oust Cheney From Party

The Teton County Republican Party rejected an effort to cut ties with Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney. The effort to rescind Cheney’s affiliation with the Republican Party has spread throughout her state after she voted to impeach former President Trump and was subsequently removed as House GOP Conference chair.

The Hill reports:

The Teton County Republican Party voted down a largely symbolic resolution this week that would have revoked its recognition of Cheney as a member of the GOP, joining the Laramie County GOP, which rejected a similar measure earlier this month.

Several other county Republican parties throughout Wyoming have moved in recent months to rescind their recognition of Cheney, who joined nine other Republicans earlier this year in voting to impeach former President Donald Trump for his role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

The resolutions have no actual power to strip Cheney of her party affiliation, but act as a symbolic rejection of the Wyoming representative, who is already facing several primary challengers next year. Last week, Trump endorsed one of Cheney’s opponents, attorney Harriet Hageman.

In February, the Wyoming Republican Party voted to censure Cheney for her impeachment vote. Months later, in May, House Republicans voted to oust Cheney from her position as conference chair, eventually moving to replace her with Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.).

Cheney is facing an uphill re-election battle as Trump and his supporters vowed to support primary challengers seeking out oust Cheney from Congress. Recently, Trump endorsed Harriet Hageman who is challenging Cheney.

“I strongly endorse Republican House of Representatives Candidate Harriet Hageman from Wyoming who is running against warmonger and disloyal Republican, Liz Cheney,” Trump wrote. “Harriet is a fourth-generation daughter of Wyoming, a very successful attorney, and has the support and respect of a truly great U.S. Senator, Wyoming’s own Cynthia Lummis. Harriet Hageman adores the Great State of Wyoming, is strong on Crime and Borders, powerfully supports the Second Amendment, loves our Military and our Vets, and will fight for Election Integrity and Energy Independence (which Biden has already given up). Unlike RINO Liz Cheney, Harriet is all in for America First. Harriet has my Complete and Total Endorsement in replacing the Democrats number one provider of sound bites, Liz Cheney. Make America Great Again!”

We have FAR too many traitors in the Republican Party from Mitch McConnell to Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise [Paul Ryan’s two henchmen] and losers like Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, Adam Kinzinger, Jaime Herrera Beutler. LOTS OF TRAITORS but protected by the losers at GOP headquarters like Ronna McDaniels [Mittens Romney’s niece] It’s just one incestuous party from HQ down to the states. Liz Cheney and every other traitor who voted to impeach President Trump should be thrown OUT of the party.

I get how corrupt party loyalty can be. Just look at Dems. But there is nothing her constituents have in common with Dems. Water rights, farming, green new Commie schemes. Mashed reps the NWO elites. Endorsed by the Losers that get along for money, corruption and parties.

My question is :

How do these guys,, who look like they’re about 22 years old and maybe been in the military 3 years at the most have 7 rows of ribbons?????
Does the “military” now give you a medal for showing up to work on time for each month????
Or do you get a ribbon now on your birthday????
