Republicans: Make Democrats Pick Between the COVID Cards They Love, and the Voter ID Cards They Hate

NEW YORK — GOP lawmakers always should introduce legislation that highlights the internal contradictions inherent in the Democrat Party. Such measures should force Democrats to choose between Conflicting Belief A and Conflicting Belief B.

From coast to coast and at the national level, Democrats are pushing COVID-vaccine mandates and COVID-vaccine passports. Restaurant, theater, and cinema patrons in New York City, for instance, must show COVID-19 vaccination cards to enter such venues.

Democrats also have a peanut-like allergy to voter ID cards. Asking blacks to show photo ID to vote is a giant, racist conspiracy perpetrated by Republicans, or so Democrats bizarrely have claimed for decades. Joe Biden combustibly calls these election-integrity measures “Jim Crow on steroids.”

Democrats also repeat the absurd, condescending, racist lie that blacks are too stupid to acquire photo ID cards that could be presented at the polls on Election Day.

Never mind the millions of blacks who, somehow, get their hands on drivers’ licenses, school ID cards, photo ID at their jobs, etc.

And, of course, Biden wants every American to get a COVID-19 vaccine. But, to get inoculated, you must present…an ID card.

What a concept!

One cannot visit Biden’s White House without presenting photo ID to the Secret Service, to traverse the iron gates.

How racist!

The time is now for Republicans in Washington and state capitals to force these Democrat contradictions into the open. Here’s how:

GOP legislators should introduce bills and amendments in Congress and state legislatures that would approve COVID-19 vaccination cards as voter ID in elections.

Republicans then should call the Yeas and Nays and force Democrats to choose between their love of COVID-vaccine cards and their hatred for voter ID cards.
