$2.25 Billion for AOC’s Civilian Climate Corps
$2.25 billion is being set aside from Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “Civilian Climate Corps.” Members of the Civilian Climate Corps will be paid “no less than 200% of the annual Federal poverty line.” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had previously admitted that this was based on FDR’s Civil Works Administration, something that completely failed in its day.
