Backlash on Biden Claim 

Biden demanded that those who defied congressional subpoenas should be prosecuted. Jen Psaki and the DOJ are in damage control mode after this outrageous statement. 

Biden’s statement was in reference to former President Trump and several of his allies who have not helped the January 6th commission. Biden was effectively saying that Trump administration officials should be prosecuted. 

The DOJ came out with a  public statement following this remark saying that they let the law decide who they prosecute. Jen Psaki would try and spin Biden’s statement in a tweet. Jen Psaki’s tweet would attack January 6th rioters and clarify that the DOJ makes its own decisions about prosecution.
