Firearms news site and online retailer Guns.com faced a massive wave of backlash after a whistleblower revealed that the company was giving employees an ultimatum over the vaccine mandate.

Guns.com gave employees an option, get the vaccine or face termination, and a whistleblower came forward as a result. The whistleblower from Guns.com said that the order was extremely controversial for staff and many were unsure of what they were going to do.

An interesting note about the mandate Guns.com had for the vaccine is that the company did not meet the requirements set by the Biden administration for companies. Guns.com only had about 46 public employees, Biden set the mandate for companies with over 100. Couple this with the fact that most of Guns.com employees worked from home and it’s clear this mandate was created internally and not the result of the government.
