McAuliffe Gun Control Lobby Support 

McAuliffe has huge backing from the gun control lobby in Washington DC. This only makes sense as McAuliffe wants to bring California style gun control to the state of Virginia. 

Back in 2013, when McAuliffe first successfully ran for governor in Virginia, the gun control lobby dumped over $1 million into the race. Now they are doubling their efforts with a massive $2.5 million injection.
