Crime is one of the issues that Americans care a lot about, the fact is that people do not want to see their neighbors get robbed and murdered on a weekly basis.  

The Democrats do not have a strategy when it comes to tackling crime, what their more radical elements have proposed has made crime worse and Americans are not happy. 

Gangs of thieves have been roaming places like California and stealing everything they see because local Democrat prosecutors have opted to decriminalize shoplifting under a certain amount. These rampant thefts have resulted in stores closing and those that remain open have had to up their prices to account for the lost inventory. 

New bail reform measures taken by Democrats have resulted in criminals being able to run free after being arrested. The general public heavily favors the Republican party on this issue.
