Border Security

Border Security is another issue that clearly lends itself to being a Republican asset. The Democrats are currently pursuing a moronic open borders policy that is extremely unpopular with Americans and is sure to hurt them in future elections. 

Democrat policy on border security is extremely soft, they want to let illegal immigrants run free throughout the country and face no consequences for breaking the law on their initial entry. They also go to great lengths to ensure that illegal immigrants are not convicted of any crimes when they break the law after their initial entry. 

The Republican platform calls for an end to illegal immigration and strict procedure with legal immigration. This platform is far more appealing to the average voter than the open borders insanity currently going on.
