A great sign out of Texas was the major shift in the voting habits of Hispanic voters.

Republican Candidate John Lujan was able to beat out the Democrats in his election and convert 71% of the Hispanic vote in Bexar County(San Antonino). John Lujan is still only one by a slim margin (51-49%) but the fact he was able to win at all is a great sign in this traditionally Democrat area.
