Not the First Representative to be Stripped of Committee Positions

Rep. Gosar was not the first Representative to be stripped of his committee positions. Marjorie Taylor Greene was stripped of her committee positions this year. The last censure of a representative was Democrat Rep. Charlie Rangel of New York who had been censured after ethics violations.
