Rep. Ocasio-Cortez Takes Spotlight 

One of the Democrats in Gosar’s video was Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez was offered support at the censure vote and many of her colleagues offered hugs and fist bumps. 

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez spoke at the vote and said “It is sad, it is a sad day in which a member who leads a political party in the United States of America cannot bring themselves to say that issuing a depiction of murdering a member of Congress is wrong.”
