Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert has officially launched his campaign to become Texas’ next Attorney General.

The Hill reports:
“Texas I am officially running to be your next Attorney General and will enforce the rule of law,” Gohmert said in a tweet, including a link to a website to donate to his campaign.
Earlier this month, Gohmert said he would run on the condition that he received $1 million in campaign contributions by Nov. 19.
In his campaign announcement video posted Monday, Gohmert confirmed he had reached his financial goal.
“I’ll have what I need to launch this campaign. I’ll need more, of course, but this will get us started properly,” he said.
Gohmert said he intends to focus on election integrity if he’s elected.
