Back in November the South Carolina School Board Association voted to leave the NSBA. This vote came shortly after lawmakers in the state petitioned the organization to do so. “After careful deliberation, the Board voted to withdraw SCSBA’s membership from NSBA effective immediately and request a refund of SCSBA’s 2021–2022 membership dues,” the board said in their public termination of membership letter.
