Kamala Harris Crafts Plan to Tackle ‘Root Causes’ of Border Issue

Vice President and Border Czar Kamala Harris finally appears to be doing something to combat this immigration crisis. 

VP Harris announced early on Monday that over $500 million in new private investments were coming to Central America as a means of stabilizing the economies of these nations and creating jobs so migrants do not feel the need to come to the United States. 

VP Harris has previously been accused of not doing much of anything in regards to immigration over the past few months in her position as Border Czar and many feel that this is a step in the right direction. Critics of this move from VP Harris are saying that this will not do enough to mitigate the crisis at the border and that things will continue to get worse as time goes on.
