While a lot of Lyndon B. Johnson’s domestic policies left a lot to be desired, his foreign policy was impressive. President Johnson was able to take foreign leaders to task and he was able to get his way in almost any negotiation. Lyndon B. Johnson was also able to sign key legislation for African Americans during his administration thanks to his ability to negotiate with Congress.
