Elon Musk 

The founder of both Tesla and PayPal, Elon Musk, has been in the news an awful lot this year. His many shenanigans on social media and his recent bouts with the media over his actions as head of Tesla have put him in contention for one of the most influential figures in media this year. Musk has recently got himself in hot water after attacking the UN for misappropriating funds, Musk boasted that he would pay the money to solve world hunger if the UN could provide him a plan for how they would be able to solve the issue with the money. This bout was an international incident that took place over social media, the UN had not yet handed over the details Musk wanted and Musk has not put up the money as a result.
