These Democrat Counties Are Moving to the Right

Lake County, California has become an interesting area to watch. Lake County is a part of California’s Emerald Triangle, the home of the marijuana industry, and has typically voted for Democrat candidates. In 2016 the county went to Clinton and in 2020 the county went to Biden but during the California recall election the county voted to remove Gavin Newsome from office. This strange turn of events can not simply be attributed to Newsome’s poor performance as governor, the state of California overwhelmingly voted to keep him in office despite the best efforts of Republicans in the state.
