Political History 

Simmons has worked for a lot of Democrats over the years while working on the communications side of politics, one of the most notable examples being former President Bill Clinton. Simmons was a press assistant for the 1992 Clinton presidential campaign and he was also the deputy communications director for Al Gore’s 2000 presidential campaign.
