Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany has reportedly handed over her text messages to the House Select Committee as part of its ongoing investigation.

The Washington Examiner reports:

“You were with former President Trump when he traveled to the Ellipse and spoke at the ‘Stop the Steal’ rally and ‘popped in and out’ to join Trump as he watched the attack on the U.S. Capitol later that afternoon,” Rep. Bennie Thompson, the committee’s chairman, wrote in a subpoena letter to McEnany.

Some of McEnany’s text messages were allegedly included in a letter the committee sent to Ivanka Trump, ABC News reported.

“1 – no more stolen election talk,” Fox News host Sean Hannity texted McEnany, according to a transcript. “2- Yes, impeachment and the 25th amendment are real and many people will quit.”

“Love that. Thank you. That is the playbook. I will help reinforce….,” McEnany replied, the outlet reported.

The House panel is also seeking McEnany’s records from the National Archives including talking points from binders she had during her time as Trump’s press secretary.
