On Tuesday, former failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton announced she tested positive for Covid-19.

The Wall Street Journal reports:

“I’ve got some mild cold symptoms but am feeling fine,” Mrs. Clinton, the former secretary of state and presidential candidate, wrote on Twitter.

“I’m more grateful than ever for the protection vaccines can provide against serious illness,” she said, while also urging others to be vaccinated and receive a booster shot if they hadn’t already.

Mrs. Clinton said her husband, former President Bill Clinton, tested negative and was feeling fine. “He’s quarantining until our household is fully in the clear,” she wrote, while also asking for movie recommendations.

On the same day, White House press secretary Jen Psaki revealed she also tested positive for the virus. This marks the second time she has contracted the virus.

Per The Wall Street Journal:

Ms. Psaki, who is experiencing mild symptoms, said in a statement that Mr. Biden tested negative for Covid-19 on Tuesday. She said that she had two socially distanced meetings with Mr. Biden on Monday and that the president wasn’t considered a close contact as defined by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

She said in the statement that she will work from home this week and intends to return to work in person at the end of a five-day isolation period and after she gets a negative test result.
