It is believed that Hunter and Joe worked together to enrich themselves by getting into bed with China. This is now something that we know to at least be partially true. Hunter Biden worked with China and somehow secured a massive chunk of funding from a major Chinese bank despite not having any real history in the investment space. This deal went down while then-Vice President Joe Biden happened to be in town.
