Is Lisa Murkowski already throwing in the towel?
The Alaska Senator is admitting that there is a very real possibility she loses her seat to Trump-endorsed challenger Kelly Tshibaka.
Newsmax reports:
“I may be the last man standing,” she said. “I may not be reelected, it may be that Alaskans say, ‘Nope, we want to go with an absolute, down-the-line, always, always, 100% never-question, rubber-stamp Republican.’
“And if they say that, that’s the way that Alaska has gone — kind of the same direction that so many other parts of the country have gone — I have to accept that. But I’m going to give them the option.”
The Times noted Murkowski has received $7.4 million worth of advertising from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s leadership political action committee to support her candidacy.
“Maybe I am just completely politically naïve, and this ship has sailed,” she told the Times. But I won’t know unless we — unless I — stay out there and give Alaskans the opportunity to weigh in.”
Murkowski was one of the Republicans that voted to impeach Trump after the Capitol riot last year. The move prompted Trump to then pledge to support candidates seeking to unseat the “RINO” lawmakers.
“Kelly Tshibaka is the candidate who can beat Murkowski — and she will,” Trump said. “Kelly is a fighter who stands for Alaska values and America First.”

And it could be, that the people of Alaska is just tired of your two faced comments you have been making through the years. And and that term “last man standing” are you now self identifying? Now that’s interesting. I hope you get your clock cleaned in a primary and prepare to remove your belongings from your office. You need to move back to Alaska, if they will have you, but for some reason. I think you have your eyes set on a much warmer climate. Even if you are a Snowflake and RINO.
Her absolutist statement does appear to be deserving of defeat. Categorizing ALL in that manner is inherently an absurd discriminatory act. It is not possible to fairly represent the people of Alaska while maintaining such an attitude.
Please let it be true. Seeing her gone from the Senate will be SO satisfying. She claims to be a Republican but was elected by Democrats in the general election after being defeated in the Republican primary.
