J.D. Vance was one of the first candidates that Trump endorsed after leaving office. Vance is running for U.S. Senate in Ohio and is facing some tough competition from fellow Republican candidates.

This Ohio Senate seat is one of the most hotly contested seats in the 2022 election. Candidates and organizations have spent over $60 million on advertising over the course of the election and the primary has not even been held yet. The seat will almost certainly go to a Republican if polling is to be believed, but the question of which one is still in the air.
