Rep. Madison Cawthorn is facing a number of challengers seeking to knock the Republican firebrand out of the national spotlight and into oblivion.

The scandal-ridden freshman Congressman still managed to get Donald Trump’s endorsement which could prove to be the lifeline he needs.

The top Republicans in the state General Assembly have endorsed one of his rivals, state Sen. Chuck Edwards, as has Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.).
