Oregon 5th District Democratic Primary
Progressive Democrats in Oregon’s 5th district are making an effort to unseat moderate Democrat Kurt Schrader.
The progressive tasked with taking on Rep. Schrader is Jamie McLeod-Skinner in a primary that could be the biggest victory for Progressive Democrats this year.
Top progressives like Sen. Elizabeth Warren have come out in support of McLeod-Skinner. However, Biden endorsed Schrader last month angering many progressives who see him as an unreliable Democrat vote in the House.
