Maine Senator Susan Collins is open to the idea of gun control. A spokesperson for Collins said, “Senator Collins is one of two Republican senators currently serving who voted for Manchin-Toomey, which included background checks for all commercial transactions – including at gun shows and Internet sales – but exempted family gifts and transfers.”
