Kevin McCarthy is the House Minority Leader. Trump has affectionately referred to McCarthy as “my Kevin,” and endorsed him for California’s district 20 which lies to the west of Fresno. McCarthy also supported Trump in investigating the 2020 election results. McCarthy ended in first place for in the primary and will move on to the general election.
