When Donald Trump hired Devin Nunes, he endorsed Connie Conway to take over Devin’s seat in a special election runoff. Her position will not last forever though. When the new district map takes effect, her district will lapse. This means that her service in the role will only be temporary. Nonetheless, Conway stole first place and will advance to the general election.
