During last weekend’s “Pride” event in Chicago over the weekend, the city’s Mayor Lori Lightfoot went on a bizarre profanity-filled rant against U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, a conservative. She screamed at the crowd, “F**k Clarence Thomas!”

Fox News reports:

The [D]emocrat took to [T]witter Monday evening to defend her use of profanity after the video of her at the Pride event went viral. Lightfoot tweeted a picture of herself at the event pointing to a person in the audience wearing a T-shirt that read “F— Clarence Thomas.” Lightfoot simply captioned the picture, “I said what I said.”

The mayor of the third-largest city in the country was speaking on stage at the city’s Pride Fest. She began by saying, “If you read Clarence Thomas’ concurrence.” Someone then yells at the mayor from the audience to which she replies, “Thank you. F— Clarence Thomas. He thinks that we are going to stand idly by while they take our rights – our right to marry – our right to have children – our right to live.”

Lightfoot, Chicago’s first openly gay mayor, was enraged at Justice Thomas for suggesting that last week’s landmark decision overturning Roe v. Wade should be a prelude to overturning gay marriage.

The backlash to Lightfoot’s attack on Justice Thomas was swift. Multiple mayoral challengers came out to express their disgust.

  1. Typical self absorbed narcissistic Democrat witch that does nothing to stop Chicago from destroying itself. Then she acts like a uncivilized punk trying to verbally abuse a supreme court justice. She needs to be put in a Chicago jail cell.

  2. I happen to believe that Justice Clarence Thomas is the only Justice that really believes in our Constitution. He had a really hard time during his hearings. Between Joe Biden and sitting next to him was Ted Kennedy it was ugly. I don’t think that there are any more racist public officials than those two. Ted Kennedy had murdered his pregnant girlfriend by drowning, and he got away with it.

  3. I used to live in Chicago. I did but I don’t no more. Quote from an Oscar Brand Song of the sixties. He should add a verse to cover the useless mayor!!!
