Key members of Donald Trump’s inner circle have been subpoenaed by the grand jury in Atlanta, Georgia as it continues its criminal investigation of the former president’s interference in the 2020 election.

On Tuesday, Trump’s former attorney Rudy Giuliani, South Carolina Sen Lindsey Graham and attorney Jenna Ellis were all issued subpoenas in relation to the case.

The Daily Mail reports:

Copies of the subpoenas, signed off by Fulton Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney and obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, also list conservative lawyer and activist Cleta Mitchell as well as attorney and podcast host Jacki Pick.

Mitchell advised Trump during the infamous phone conversation with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. Trump used the call to urge him to ‘find’ 11,780 votes – enough to give him the state.

Raffensperger also said he was contacted by Graham 10 days after the election asking if he was had the power to reject mailed ballots in certain counties.

Graham later denied that he was doing anything improper, and was simply asking for information to understand how the mail ballots were verified.

The grand jury is reportedly focused on three appearances by Giuliani where he testified before Georgia lawmakers in the aftermath of the election.

  1. More harassment! No legitimate purpose for ANY of this. Marxists are trying to bankrupt the ones standing up for our country!

  2. There is NO harm in investigating and trying to find over 11,000 votes when you know fraud and crime has been committed and remote viewing solves a lot of the problem as we can take video recorders in the viewing. I know what the truth is. I think if I were to produce it, I will me suicided. Trump was the winner and the greatest man since Jesus to walk this Earth. Trump is trying to do Jesus’s work to finish Satan for good! It should not be this hard to tell the truth. Evil people like the Democrats and the Rinos are to blame for a lot of it. Her Royal Clown is another along with Soros, Gates, Zuckbucks and so many more. A big problem is the Patriots won’t even stand up for their own rights other than complaining. I am sick to death of all this nonsense. We have pre K people running this country. I personally am at the end of my rope and hanging on by a string and that string is very frayed. I can’t take much more. This has got to end!

  3. investigate all you want it will only prove what the Russia, Russia hoax proved – collusion, obstruiction of justice and corruption perpetrated by the dems

  4. The infamous phone call has been grossly misrepresented by Democrats, just as they misrepresented President Trump’s telephone conversation with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine and used it for an obviously political impeachment.

I listened carefully to a recording of the complete conversation with Secretary Raffensperger. President Trump asserted that his campaign had evidence that well over 100,000 votes were improperly or illegally cast in the Georgia election, and he described the various allegations (at least some of which have subsequently been proven very likely, in particular, with video evidence of ballot harvesting). Then he told the Secretary that he wasn’t asking him to investigate all 100,000 + votes, that if he found 11,789 improper votes, that was good enough. Implicit in this, of course, is the assumption that all of the illegal votes were for Mr. Biden. President Trump was not demanding that Mr. Raffensperger pull 11,780 more out of thin air, nor illegally change any votes, but rather that he determine whether at least 11,780 votes were fraudulent, i. e., a sufficient number to call Mr. Biden’s win into question.

It’s been alleged that Fulton County has already destroyed many election records (contrary to federal law, which required them to be retained until August of this year), so it is now impossible to fulfill President Trump’s request, even if the Secretary had been inclined to do so. We can only hope that action taken by the Georgia legislature to tighten up procedures will be more effective at preventing fraud in the next election.
