Last-minute thoughts on Election Day 2022

If you live in Pennsylvania, please vote for Dr. Mehmet Oz over John Fetterman for U.S. Senate. Aside from being intellectually diminished by his stroke, Fetterman is hobbled by terrible ideas. He has a lifelong soft spot for murderers that truly is chilling and the last thing that America needs in the Senate. Oz is well-spoken, thoughtful, and will add a new conservative voice to Capitol Hill and the political landscape.

If you live in New York State, please vote for Lee Zeldin for governor. Zeldin is tough, brilliant, energetic and honest. He is precisely the leader that New York needs to fight crime, restore prosperity, and clean house in Albany. He will have the criminals, rats, and con artists on the run — from Niagara Falls to the Battery.

I proudly voted for Lee Zeldin and the entire GOP team. I urge every eligible New York to do the same.

Three cheers for Lee Zeldin!

If you live in New York City, please vote No on the ballot proposals that would add “racial equity” to the preamble of the City Charter and create both an Office of Racial Equity and a Commission on Racial Equity. (One is bad enough. Do we need both?)

If these measures pass, NYC never will stop obsessing over race. And, having elected our second black mayor and living under a black female police commissioner, Gotham in 2022 is not quite Birmingham in 1958. But don’t tell that to the “equity”-mongers. They never stop seeing racism, which is all the reason they should not be given two new agencies and a whole new portfolio for mischief. Thumbs WAY down on these ballot measures.
