Ron DeSantis

DeSantis, who just won a second term as Florida’s Governor, left little to no doubt that the 2024 elections were on his mind during his speech. As he mentioned his overwhelming midterm success in Florida he hinted at his future by saying he has “only begun to fight.” DeSantis is the most popular alternative to Trump, as of now, though while 2024 may be on his mind it is unlikely for him to officially enter the race until late spring.
