Michigan: Debbie Stabenow

In 2000, Stabenow made history when she became the first woman from Michigan elected to the United States Senate. She is Chairwoman of the Senate Agriculture Committee, a senior member of the Senate Finance Committee, and Budget Committee, and a member of the Environment and Public Works Committee.
