THIS Twitter Counsel Lawyer Attempted To Cover Up Hunter Biden Story Behind Elon Musk’s Back – THIS Is How Elon Responds

Twitter’s Deputy General Counsel Jim Baker attempted to cover up the Hunter Biden Twitter report on media censorship, often called “Twitter files,” without the knowledge of Twitter CEO Elon Musk.

Substack Journalist Matt Taibbi, the same journalist who initially reported on the Twitter Files, has also broken the news that Twitter’s Deputy General Counsel Jim Baker attempted to vet and censor the initial batch of information the Twitter Files contained. The initial information released through the first release of the Twitter Files surrounded the 2020 Biden campaign’s attempt to cover up not only the Hunter Biden story, but also the 2020 Biden campaign’s efforts to censor all speech on social media, including instructing Twitter to ban accounts that are viewed as political opposition.

The New York Post has called Baker’s attempt an “inside job,” and due to his attempt of covering up the Twitter Files without the knowledge of Musk, Musk fired Baker.

Taibbi went on to explain the situation:

“On Friday, the first installment of the Twitter files was published here. We expected to publish more over the weekend. Many wondered why there was a delay,” Taibbi tweeted. “We can now tell you part of the reason why. On Tuesday, Twitter Deputy General Counsel (and former FBI General Counsel) Jim Baker was fired. Among the reasons? Vetting the first batch of ‘Twitter Files’ – without knowledge of new management.”

“The process for producing the ‘Twitter Files’ involved delivery to two journalists (Bari Weiss and me) via a lawyer close to new management. However, after the initial batch, things became complicated. Over the weekend, while we both dealt with obstacles to new searches, it was @BariWeiss who discovered that the person in charge of releasing the files was someone named Jim. When she called to ask ‘Jim’s’ last name, the answer came back: ‘Jim Baker.’”

Now that Baker has been fired, many on Twitter are wanting to see the remaining Twitter Files as soon as possible. Currently, only a handful of Twitter Files have been released, and Taibbi is posting at a rate of one installment per day.
