After stating in a CNN interview with Dana Bash that he would not be running for president in 2024, new findings may say otherwise. New Hampshire’s moderate Republican Governor Chris Sununu told the CNN host last week that he was definitely not running for president right now and that his “focus right now is New Hampshire. It really is. Because it has to be.”
However, a Sununu-aligned PAC might say otherwise. His PAC began running social media ads overnight Tuesday in early-voting states Iowa and South Carolina, which have sparked speculation on Sununu’s real intentions.
As shown below in a tweet from Monica Venzke, the Communications Director for New Hampshire’s Democratic Party, you can see the ads and decide for yourself.
He said on national TV literally yesterday that he “is only focused on New Hampshire right now.”
WEIRD way of showing it, Gov! #NHPolitics https://t.co/pH3lfClK59

Is this an early soft launch to a 2024 presidential run? Will Sununu be Trump’s new challenger?
