Today in a Hollywood minute Amanda discusses Joe Biden and his Twitter account. Does he run his Twitter or even know how to log in? Doubt it. But whoever does run it is out of touch. Yesterday the Biden Twitter account posted a picture of Biden in a $110,000 electric Hummer HV. In a promotion for the up to $7,500 tax credit citizens could be eligible when purchasing an electric vehicle. While the average household income in the country is at about $70,000, and the real disposable income is at a second all-time low that hasn’t been seen since the great depression in 1932. With almost everyone hurting right now, Americans cannot afford to buy a $110,000 vehicle. And on top of that the tax credit only applies when buying an electric vehicle priced at an MSRP of $80,000 or less.
On my watch, the great American road trip is going to be fully electrified.
