President Trump has now weighed in on the Chinese Balloon – now suspected to be a spy balloon – that hovered over the northern parts of the United States Thursday. In a Truth Social post, Trump called on Biden to “shoot” the balloon down. Though he is not the only one to suggest taking action against China, the President who launched his third bid for the White House in November is showing the country and sleepy Joe what needs to be done in the face of rising tensions with China.

Many other GOP heavyweights have let their opinions be known following the confirmation of the craft belonging to China as well.

Nikki Haley, who has said she would announce her bid for the presidency in 2024 also gave her opinion – via Twitter. Haley, if no others announce before her, will be the only candidate officially running against Trump for the GOP nomination in 2024 following her official announcement in only two weeks time.

As the balloon is floating over Montana, Montana lawmakers have expressed their support for also taking it down in an attempt to get Biden to make a move.

According to Fox,

“From the spy balloon to the Chinese Communist Party spying on Americans through TikTok to CCP-linked companies buying American farmland, I’m deeply troubled by the constant stream of alarming developments for our national security,” Gov. Greg Gianforte, R-Mont., wrote in a statement addressing the high priority concern.

Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., a fifth generation Montanan, demanded there be a “full security briefing from the administration on this situation.”

“Shoot. It. Down. The Chinese spy balloon is clear provocation. In Montana we do not bow. We shoot it down. Take the shot,” Rep. Ryan Zinke, R-Mont., a former Navy SEAL, tweeted urgently on Thursday.
