Jill Biden discussed her husband’s stamina and vigor during a CNN primetime special, airing at 9 p.m. ET Monday. First Lady Biden even made her opinions on Nikki Haley’s highly criticized mental competency test known, calling the idea “ridiculous.” And after Jill’s comments, and other Democratic commentaries on the subject there is good evidence left of the sheer ineffectualness of the Democratic party. Many are even calling the idea ageist.

If Biden were to be reelected he would be 82 at his inauguration. This would even break his own record of being the oldest person to be inaugurated as President from when he set that record when he was inaugurated in 2021. While he regularly loses himself midsentence, or even directionally, Jill Biden claims the idea of a mental competency test to be the nation’s leader is something she would “never even discuss.”
Many Democrats have slammed the idea of such a test, Senator Bernie Sanders even saying the idea was “absurd” and ageist. Though his idea for these ageist claims was that “there are a lot of 40-year-olds out there who ain’t particularly competent,” though wouldn’t that be the purpose of such a test? To test the leaders of our country? If an 82-year-old could pass, that would mean they would go on to lead the country. If they didn’t they wouldn’t but that should be basic not some discrimination factor.

Though Biden herself defended her husband with one interesting comment. She said,
“How many 30-year-olds could travel to Poland, get on the train? Go nine more hours, go to Ukraine, meet with President (Volodymyr) Zelensky? … So, look at the man. Look what he’s doing, Look what he continues to do each and every day.”
Our only comment here is, how many 30-year-olds couldn’t do such a thing? Especially if an 80-year-old could? What kind of argument is this, anyone can sit on a plane and then sit on a train for hours at a time. It may not be the most fun thing to do, but is it not doable as an adult?
Though Biden then said if her husband decided to run in 2024 she would be all for it, though if “he wants to do something else, we’re there too.” Leaving open the potential for whatever Biden decides in terms of his political future.
