In a new poll, by Emerson College, President Trump still holds the lead amongst other 2024 GOP potentials. Trump earned 58% of support in the Emerson College poll. This was of course followed by the usual suspects, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Trump earned 58% of the vote while the next closes opponent to him was DeSantis who only scored 17% in the poll.

All other candidates only scored within the single digits. Sununu got 7%, Haley scored 6%, Pence got 4%, and Pompeo gathered just 2% in the poll. However, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, and former Maryland governor Larry Hogan got just 1%. A few of these candidates were scored behind “someone else” who took 3% of the survey.

When looking at the poll and only accounting votes for those candidates who are announced so far in 2024, Trump (73%), Haley (20%), and Vivek Ramaswamy (7%) – Trump still had the lead. Which the former president took notice of Tuesday night on his Truth Social account.
