Former President Donald Trump has said that he feels “like Elvis” after his song with the J6 Prison Choir reached the number-one spot on iTunes earlier this month. The single titled “Justice for All” was a rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner”  overlayed with Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. It was sung by the choir of men who had been incarcerated following the January 6th, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol Building.

Trump discussed the song and its fame during his recent interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

During this he said,

“On iTunes and on Amazon and on Billboard, which is the big deal, number one. Donald Trump,” he said. “So now I feel like Elvis…It was number one. And you know what that is? That’s a tribute to the fact that people feel that J Six people have been very unfairly treated,”

Justice for All hit number one on iTunes, Amazon, and Billboard. It also reached number one on the Billboard and iTunes sales charts. Which is significant as the profits from the song went to those incarcerated in connection with January 6th.

“Justice For All,” which J6 Prison Choir performs, featured the President performing the Pledge of Allegiance intertwined with the group’s rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” It bested Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and other top U.S. acts. The prison choir group, which was composed of men who were incarcerated as a result of their involvement in the January 6 Capitol attack, aimed the song at “supporting certain prisoners denied their constitutional rights.”
