Hunter Biden’s Associates Visited the White House Over 80 Times During Obama Administration

Hunter Biden’s now-defunct firm, Rosemont Seneca Advisors, had extensive connections to the Obama White House. Fox News Digital found that four of Hunter’s business partners, a vice president, and two assistants visited the White House more than 80 times during his father’s tenure as vice president. Joan Mayer, a former vice president of Rosemont Seneca Advisors, visited the White House at least 17 times during her tenure at the company from 2008 to 2017.

On several occasions, President Biden has maintained that he was not aware of the business activities involving his son, Hunter, as the latter and his family face probes from both Congress and law enforcement agencies. Many Democratic lawmakers have stood by President Biden and his son, Hunter, during the investigations, dismissing the allegations as baseless or driven by political motives and disregarding any indications of potential wrongdoing.

Visits to the White House

Joan Mayer, a former Rosemont Seneca Advisors vice president, had several meetings with high-level White House staff during the Obama administration. She attended a vice presidential briefing in October 2009 and then met with an executive assistant in the West Wing. Mayer also had a meeting with another executive assistant in July 2013 and attended holiday receptions at the vice president’s residence in 2013 and 2014.

In September 2015, she attended a Jewish community reception and met with an associate counsel in Biden’s office in June 2016 at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. Similarly, Anne Marie Person, another former Hunter Biden assistant, visited the Obama White House at least five times, including a meeting with a former Biden aide who now serves as the Pentagon’s deputy director of protocol in April 2014.

Connections to Hunter Biden

During the Obama administration, Chung had a five-year employment stint working for Biden. During this time, she communicated regularly with Hunter Biden, sharing information about his father’s schedule and relaying messages directly from the then-vice president to Hunter and his team.

In May 2014, Person was hired as a staff assistant to the then-vice president, while her brother Fran, a longtime Biden aide, left the White House shortly after she joined Biden’s office. Fran went on to make at least seven visits to the White House after leaving his job there and later became a top executive at the DC-based affiliate of China’s Harves Century Group, the Harves Group. Both Person siblings maintained frequent contact with Hunter and Eric Schwerin, who was then the president of Rosemont Seneca Advisors, using their government email accounts while working in their respective roles during the Obama-Biden administration.

Questions of Prosecution

Inquiring about possible violations of gun laws, Wisconsin Representative Tom Tiffany has raised concerns over the lack of prosecution of Hunter Biden. He recently questioned a gun control activist regarding this matter, as Hunter is alleged to have illegally obtained a pistol without proper licensing, and then disposed of it.

President Biden has repeatedly denied knowledge of his son’s business dealings, but doubts have arisen about the extent of influence and access that Hunter’s associates with ties to the Obama White House may have had. Texts discovered on a notorious laptop suggest that President Biden may have been referred to as the “big guy” in proposed business deals that would involve giving a share of the profits to the “big guy.”

According to the New York Post, one of Hunter Biden’s former business partners referred to Joe Biden as “the Big Guy” in a text message the same day that The New York Post broke news of the laptop belonging to the President’s son. The former partner, James Gilliar, made the reference while discussing the paper’s exclusive report with an unnamed person on October 14, 2020.

Gilliar, a former British special forces officer with ties to UK intelligence services, was acting as the driving force behind Hunter and his uncle Jim Biden’s planned multimillion-dollar deal with Chinese energy conglomerate CEFC. Another former associate of Hunter Biden, US Navy veteran Tony Bobulinski, had also claimed that “big guy” was a reference to President Biden and that he was involved in the planned CEFC deal. The identity of the “big guy” has formed part of the grand jury investigation in Wilmington, Delaware, into Hunter’s business dealings.
