Republican Representative Byron Donalds of Florida is urging for fresh investigations into Hillary Clinton after the publication of special counsel John Durham’s report. The report implicated Clinton’s campaign in unfounded claims of ‘Russian collusion’ against Donald Trump. Donalds strongly criticized the mainstream media for defending the FBI, despite the report revealing the lack of evidence supporting the collusion charges against Trump. Donalds accused the media of spreading Clinton’s false information to initiate the ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ investigation by the FBI. He emphasized the dangerous consequences when the media fails to admit their errors. Donalds’ call for new investigations demonstrates his commitment to uncovering the truth and ensuring accountability.

Rep. Byron Donalds voiced concerns about the Clinton Foundation’s potential violations, exposing problems within the FBI. He accused the media of complicity, alleging their active promotion of Hillary Clinton’s false information about Donald Trump. This information, shared with influential FBI officials, kick-started the contentious “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation.

Donalds doubted the media’s readiness to admit their mistakes and address the serious implications. He expected them to brush off the issue, offer shallow coverage briefly, and swiftly move on, which he emphasized as a significant danger with severe consequences for the country.

“The media was in on this from the beginning, in my view. They’re the ones who were willing to launder out Hillary Clinton’s phony, made-up information about Donald Trump,” adding, “the same information that she used with her friends at the upper echelon of the FBI to start the ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ investigation.”

“So her media friends are not gonna come out now and say, ‘Oh yeah, you know what? We were wrong, and this is damning… They’re just gonna laugh it off, cover it for one or two days, and then ignore it. This is really dangerous for our country.”

In addition to his stance on the investigations, Rep. Byron Donalds made headlines by becoming one of the first congressmen to formally endorse President Donald J. Trump for the 2024 presidential race. This endorsement surprised many, as some expected the Florida representative to support Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is likely to be a contender in the 2024 presidential elections. Donalds’ decision to back Trump instead signals his strong support for the former president’s political agenda and leadership.

According to Conservative Brief:

Donalds went on to say that, in his view, the Durham report “clearly shows rank-and-file in the FBI, in three different offices, who had serious concerns about the Clinton Foundation” — which was launched by former President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton after they left office.

Ahead of the 2016 election, the Justice Department and elements within the FBI had launched at least four investigations into the foundation and Hillary Clinton, who was accused of violating laws governing the handling of classified materials after it was discovered that she had her own personal email server located in her New York home while serving as President Barack Obama’s secretary of state. She was also under investigation for allegedly destroying classified materials and emails that were under congressional subpoena.

“If the DOJ and the FBI refuse to do it, should there be congressional investigations?” Roberts asked.

“I totally agree. We should definitely be looking into this,” Donalds responded, going on to note that Durham’s report mentioned how abruptly the investigations were shut down as well as “back-channel” emails and communications between FBI personnel who believed Hillary was going to win the presidency and would retaliate against them if they continued their investigations.

Certain federal laws, including those for alleged violations governing the handling of classified materials, have statutes of limitations, however, so it isn’t clear that Clinton could be charged at this point.

Rep. Byron Donalds, a Republican representative from Florida, is advocating for fresh investigations into Hillary Clinton in light of special counsel John Durham’s report. He sharply criticized the mainstream media for defending the FBI, despite the report’s revelation of insufficient evidence to support the allegations of collusion against President Donald Trump.

Donalds accused the media of actively disseminating Clinton’s false information, which fueled the contentious “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation. He underscored the perilous ramifications when the media refuses to acknowledge its mistakes. Donalds’ plea for new investigations demonstrates his dedication to uncovering the truth and promoting accountability. Furthermore, his endorsement of former President Trump for the 2024 presidential race showcases his unwavering support for Trump’s political agenda and leadership.
