On Truth Social, the social media platform launched by former President Donald Trump, he made strong promises to confront President Joe Biden and his family, whom he labeled as “corrupt.” Trump stated his intention to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate what he called the “most corrupt president in the history of the USA” and the entire Biden family. These statements were made just before Trump’s departure on a private jet to Miami, where he faces a second criminal indictment for the year. The indictment relates to allegations of Trump’s wrongful possession of classified documents, a trial that many view as politically motivated to hinder his potential 2024 Presidential run.

“I WILL APPOINT A REAL SPECIAL ‘PROSECUTOR’ TO GO AFTER THE MOST CORRUPT PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE USA, JOE BIDEN, THE ENTIRE BIDEN CRIME FAMILY, & ALL OTHERS INVOLVED WITH THE DESTRUCTION OF OUR ELECTIONS, BORDERS, & COUNTRY ITSELF!”

Currently, Trump himself is facing a total of 37 criminal charges related to his handling of presidential records and an additional 34 charges connected to an alleged hush money operation during his 2016 campaign. Throughout these legal proceedings, he has consistently denied the accusations and maintained his innocence.

Trump has drawn comparisons between alleged corruption within his family and that of the Biden family. The Justice Department has an ongoing investigation into Hunter Biden for potential violations of tax laws and a possible false statement regarding a firearm purchase. Despite reports of corruption and alleged crimes involving the Biden family, little action has been taken against them. In contrast, new cases involving Trump seem to surface frequently, often for little to no reason, leading some to question the state of the United States, likening it to a banana republic. So far, investigations into potential criminal activities involving the Biden family have not produced conclusive findings, and Trump expresses his intention to address this if he regains office in 2024.
