In a political roast worthy of a late-night comedy show, former President Donald Trump decided to make the waistline a front-line issue at a New Hampshire rally. Targeting Chris Christie, the ex-governor of New Jersey, Trump dished out some calorie-rich insults. “No Christie, he’s eating right now. He can’t be bothered,” he said to the crowd.

“No, no, we won’t call him a fat pig!” Trump insisted to the audience, using his best ‘I’m-trying-to-be-serious’ face. “That’s rude, right? We’re civil here, right?” he added, with a wink and a nudge.
Christie, for his part, shrugged off the barbs with a counter-jab, comparing Trump to Adonis – in what can only be considered the most unexpected comparison in political history. “Oh, like he’s some Adonis?” he told Fox News.
The scales of political discourse may have tilted, but it seems the heavyweight banter between the two continues to entertain the crowd. Christie’s campaign, however, chose to tip the scales towards silence and did not comment on this round of political “Who Ate All the Pies?” debate.
