Call for Impeachment
Georgia’s Republican state senator, Colton Moore, has taken significant action towards impeaching Fulton county district attorney, Fani Willis.
This initiative follows Willis’s 41-count indictment against former president Donald Trump and his associates on charges of state racketeering and conspiracy, related to efforts to overturn Trump’s 2020 presidential election loss in Georgia.
Emergency Review Request
On the same subject, Moore has written an urgent letter to Governor Brian Kemp, requesting an emergency review of Willis’s actions. In his letter, he stresses that an emergency session is needed to examine and respond to Willis’s decisions.
In a post on Twitter, Moore states:
“As a Georgia State Senator, I am officially calling for an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis.
America is under attack. I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors politically TARGET political opponents.”

Public Reaction and Racial Abuse
The call for impeachment and emergency review by Senator Moore has been met with approval from several conservatives online, praising him for his courage.
However, in the wake of the indictment, Fani Willis, who is African American, has faced a disturbing and unacceptable surge of racist abuse online, including a reprehensible comment from the former president on Truth Social.
