President Biden’s pathetically short 12-minute visit to the United Auto Workers (UAW) strike in Michigan was marked by contrasting voices from the blue-collar workers. They expressed concerns about improving their job security, mainly regarding illegal immigration, and their apprehension about transitioning to electric vehicles, which could potentially lead to job losses.
Critics found fault in Biden’s performance during the UAW strike, both in terms of substance and delivery. Many viewed his appearance as nothing more than a photo opportunity for his campaign.
After spending just 12 minutes with the striking workers, Biden moved on to attend a campaign fundraiser in California, where he plans to stay for two days while mingling with Hollywood liberal elites in an attempt to gain financial backing for his shakey 2024 Presidential campaign.
During Biden’s short speech, background chants of “we want Trump” were audible, and it was announced that Trump would be addressing the UAW strikers later in the day.
